Welcome to the Public Policy and External Affairs (PP&EA) eWeb on the Internet web page. We developed this page to serve as your tool in finding information about policy issues of importance to Verizon.

It is PP&EA's responsibility to foster public support for policies that will enable Verizon to meet its business objectives. PP&EA represents all of Verizon's business interests, wireline and wireless, as well as other subsidiaries. We advocate for these policies at all levels of government and within the community, including locally, nationally and internationally.

Verizon needs you to help our policy makers, including your Congressional and State representatives, understand our positions on some important issues for America.  We'll be sharing information about some of those hot issues, including broadband deployment and the Internet tax.  We'll be adding features to this site, including the ability to get email notices about key legislative and policy issues and a way to fax or email your legislator directly from the web.
