Order Your Prescriptions Online – It’s Quick, Convenient and Can Lower Your Costs

3.9.06

You may already use Medco’s Web site to order and manage your long-term medications. The process is quick and convenient, and you pay lower out-of-pocket costs when you order long-term medications through the mail. Once you order your prescriptions, you can track the status of your orders online. You can also receive refill reminders by email.

If you don’t use Medco’s Web site, go to www.medco.com to take advantage of the tools and resources that can help you get the best value from your Verizon prescription drug benefits. Registering is easy. When you reach the site, click on “Register now” and follow the instructions. You’ll need your member ID (you can also use your social security number) and the number of a recent prescription. When you access the site in the future, you’ll just need to enter your email address and password.

Explore the site’s features, such as highlights of your prescription benefit drug plan and tools that let you compare the cost of medications you purchase to help you better manage your prescription spending.

If you participate in a prescription drug program managed by another provider, be sure to review your mail order benefit to take advantage of the convenience and cost savings.
