Remember the days of scrambling to find full-time summer employment? If you know someone going through that for summer 2005, good news! Tell them Verizon is recruiting external candidates for summer Field Technician positions in the following areas of New York:
- Central (Watertown, Auburn, Newark, Utica, Herkimer, Rome, Syracuse, Liverpool, Homer, Horseheads)
- Northeast (Fallsburgh, Plattsburgh, Malone, Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs)
- Western* (Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Lockport, Batavia, Getzville, Depew, West Seneca, Hamburg, Gowanda, East Aurora, Olean, Williamsville)
These temporary, full-time Field Technician positions offer paid training and starting wage of $416.50 per week. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a clean driving record.
*In Western New York only, in addition to the Field Technician positions, Verizon also has 10 Central Office Technician and 3 Administrative Assistant positions available.
Verizon is offering weekend testing for these positions on the following Saturdays:
- Buffalo - March 13 and March 20
- Syracuse - March 26 and April 9
